I was born in the sixties and consider myself an “early adopter” – the gadgets of my youth were 386SX and DOS 3.3 😉 but also Nokia Communicator, Psion and Geoworks Ensemble. Nevertheless, over all these years there never was a piece of hardware that I felt could really replace my “good ol’ paper planner. So I had sort to live in two worlds – one with Outlook Calendars, Sharepoint Sites, IPads with OneNote and Office 365 – the other with a good weekly planner that never lost power, needed no updates and stored information for years to come…
EInk Tablets like the reMarkable tablet or the Onyx BooxMax3 indeed were a game changer. For the first time the writing experience paralleled that to paper while the devices were readable in sunlight, light to carry and seamlessly integrated while not distracting me with all sorts of messages, colours and popups.
Even though there are quite some templates provided from the manufacturers, I found that for a full replacement of my paper planner I would also need a good weekly planner, multi-year planner, an address book and a birthday calendar. I decided to create some templates (mainly PDF’s) for myself back in 2019.
Hence I decided to setup this website with a little webshop where you can purchase these templates at a small fee if they seem handy for your type of usage. As it is a niche market, I trust that you value copyright. Over the course of the last 2-3 years, the market developed and you will find other calendar templates on Etsy or other sources, some for free, some at reasonable, some at a bit exaggerated prices. Nevertheless, I decided to keep the “low level” approach and provide some easy but (IMHO) usable templates at a small fee, which really only helps to cover the website cost
To keep maintenance and data privacy issues at a manageable level, I have decided (for the time being at least) not to store your personal data other than for processing the order, so you will find no “my account” page. If ever there are problems with order processing, just drop me a mail.
Have fun with your gadget, wether it is version 1 or version 2.
